Gibson Les Paul Studio (USA - 1992)

    • Details

Made in the Nashville Plant, TN, USA in 1992

      Mahogany body
      Cream finish
      Set mahogany neck
      Ebony fretboard
Gold Grover tuners (not original Gibson tuners)
      Gold hardware
Gibson humbuckers (likely to be 490R and 498T)
      Volume and tone controls

In great condition in general, though the lacquer all over the body and headstock has shrunken over time creating many lacquer cracks on close inspection. This is especially noticeable on the headstock, which appears almost a shade or two lighter in colour due to the lacquer shrinkage. Personally, we love it! We've taken some close-up shots to show you what we mean.

Other than that, it has a couple of small chips on the edge of the body and headstock and a couple of small dings on the body and neck (the worst of which are pictured) and the gold finish hardware (pickup covers and bridge) has tarnished somewhat over the years.

It has also had strap lock buttons fitted, though we have the original strap buttons as well.

      Gold Set-up
This guitar has had one of our GOLD set-ups, including coated Elixir strings (Worth over £50.00 in total!). It has been set up the top of its potential and plays well (not to mention, it sounds AMAZING), though it hasn't allowed us to get the action as low as we'd usually have it.
